  • That's a nice long ride, one we might just want to attempt at some point.

Richard is undergoing traction therapy &n acupuncture for a damaged & pinched nerve in his neck, which causes excruciating pain down his entire arm. He still has few sessions to go and hopefully we will be fit enough to take on more grueling rides.

  • I had a problem in my back that came and went that knocked me off my feet for weeks at a time and the Doc's could'nt firgure it out, MRI/Catscans all sorts of stuff , the meds gave me unrational thoughts so I stoped the pills , and read up on a Doc's study of benifits and low impacts and building back muscels around the spine with recumbent bikes , I look on the Bents as saving my life, tell rich to hang in there

  • Sorry to hear! Rich is currently on very strong painkillers, which he is trying to ween off, in the hopes the therapy will help. It looks promising so far.

I took advantage of the weather today and went to the spit.

  • I still have pain every day but nothing like before and I spin on roller trainers with my bents during the winter to keep the back strong , I was on Perks ( nasty stuff ) hopfully Rich can get on lower rated painkillers ,,,,,,,,,,

  • This is one trail I haven't yet been on.

    Great video, Thanks for sharing.

  • this is a HUGE trail system , we MIGHT do a ride out to Oshawa and back in the fall ,it's a mix of roads trail paths woods , excellent fun

  • Keeping one's back muscles in shape is always a good idea, especially when on'es getting on in years, such as myself.

Rich is on 3 very strong painkillers, Perks, Oxycontin and Lyrica, which is designed specifically for nerve pain.

The sooner her gets off that "shit" the better.

Hopefully the traction therapy a& acupuncture will help. he seems to think it is a bit.

  • yuppers .really cool bridge eh
