Major pipe break, extracting water off concrete floor. Pipe broke at 1130p and got a call at 130am, and had crew on site within 2 hours. Water came down through elevators flooding basement too. Elevator pit had some odor, so we drained it, dried it, set up deodorant block and microbands and trying to get air movement going with a couple blowers. Took moisture readings throughout building. Performing water extraction from carpet, setting up dehumidifiers. Taking the molding off the floor to get to the drywall. Set up containment on certain floors, chipping plaster off to dry out wet coat on walls, and setting up negative air machines to draw dust out. Removed some of the ceiling because a lot of wet plaster. Equipment set up all over, extracting water from carpet, drying out wall cavities, blowers, and dehumidifiers. Tripped some breakers because of all the equipment and being an old building.
