Glad you just kept the camera steady...and had patience. Nice and sharp. Mom and I saw our first killdeer do its gravel road thing today, and I shot a lot of footage of its broken wing display. Hope the nest is off to the side enough and not right on the road. Seemed to have a pattern of favorite display crannies. Fascinating bird! Didn't see the other one.

Thanks for the comment! For this video I just placed the cam on the ground, about 2 or 3 feet from the nest, then just let the tape roll for a half hour until I got the shot I wanted. The birds didn't seem to mind at all!
