Dad took some super 8 video's of my older brother & me during the Chicago Blizzard of 1967 . he built us some cool snow forts near Midway Airport

It would have been nice if there was sound to this video. When I had the film edited to VHS in 1985 for my parents 25th wedding anniversary this is the music they chose / I guess if I have no sounf I can have the rights to this video and get paid

@walleyking the location is 4601 Kilpatrick just one block east of Cicero , I can notr believe how many people have viewed this video in the past week about 6 thousand

This must have been the aftermath of the Blizzard , I am sure it was as tretorous as the Blizzard we had 2 nights ago, I swaer i heard Thundere & seen lightning unless it was the plows, I even mentioned this video on WGN AM this morning around 6:15 AM

I wish more people took videos of the Blizzard of 67 , I kind of remember if it was not for this video i probably would have forgotten

that's my home town....I was in vietnam during the blizzard....someone mailed me black and white prints of the seven foot snow... and my housemaids were much more hesitant to want to "go home" with me!

Very Cool! You are very lucky to have these memories. What street did you live on? I am on 51st and Laramie....the houses all look the same.
