Today I went out on a charter boat in Galveston and caught a 7 1/2lbs. 28 inch speckled trout. It dragged me all over the boat lol ;3 I was using live shrimp on a bottom rig.

Great fish!!! I don't know but it looked like u lipped the fish like u would a bass... If u did, I wouldn't suggest doing that, they can bite ur finger

hey nice fish, when you use a popping cork do you add a weight? Or is it just the cork, leader, and shrimp?

@freespadersuggs I dont use live bait much anymore but when i do I do not use a weight. Just rig about a 12 inch or so leader, this all depends on water depth, where the fish are in the water column etc. Tie on a small treble hook on the end and bait up the live shrimp. Good luck and tight lines!
