  • Using this method you can exactly control the taste of the beer, because different enzymes do different things at different temperatures! So YOU can control, what enzyme does which work how long. So you can control the beer foam (protein enzyme) and the taste and so on. The minutes i wrote is for a standard beer. I look for a video for you to post here.

  • Well, in Germany the mashing process is different. We heat the water up to 45 Celsius (you have to calculate the Fahrenheit), ad the malt, wait 20 minutes, heat up to 61 Celsius, wait 30 minutes, heat up to 71 Celsius, wait 30 minutes, heat up to 75 Celsius, filter the mash out like you did.

  • @Imperio112 I'm intrigued... how do you brew in germany?

  • @sayfuckalot Hey man! It isn't as hard as this guy does his. (He does it more of a 'power user' way- which is cool) Find a homebrew store in your area- they are probably the best bet you'll have to learning how to do it as well as obtaining equipment and finding ppl to help you as well.

  • There are a myriad of code to grab youtube videos, but I would highly suggest reading a few brew books, to get the details. If you are not worried in details, then get a kit....boil it...beer. If you are wanting to truly make your own beer: read on it, visit beer forums for questions, and most of all...visit and talk with someone who brews beer around you. More than likely they are very stoked about brewing beer, and would love to have an extra pair of (sanitized) hands along for the ride.

  • awesome video

  • Too cool. Thanks.

  • awesome guys!!!!

  • very nice

  • the chiller isnt complex...lol is uses thermal conduction to cool the beer
