I could see the look of my childhood hometown because of you. It is amazing. Many thanks to you and your father.

I was born in Taegu, adopted in Seoul as a baby, and grown up in the USA. I wish I knew my heritage... my country... my family.

Wow, what a shambling wreck for 1972. Like a 3rd world country. It's too bad Japan didn't occupy Korea longer. There condition could have been much worse instead of always 20~30 years behind Japan in everything they copy.

Amazing. How things have changed in 40 years.

Oldtimes Korean people are reflected naturally.
It is a very good picture.
From Sendai, Japan.

Wow - I lived in Taegu in 1972 I was only 8 but remember the good times. I love this city - my hometown. It makes me cry because I remember how it was - thanks to this film. I went back in 1999 - the city was changed - I didnt recognize it.

Yup you could say that! I visited Taegu in 2001. The actual Taegu has become a modern metropolis - maybe even as good as Seoul. To look at the Super 8 movie, u would never believe this is Southkorea (a top ranked modern western industrial country).
