Hey guys I am super super super, sorry I havent posted in a while, Ive been so busy cuz volleyball just started and school is starting too, but I will try to post more often ok?? Sorry!! Anyway here is chapter 27, please comment rate and subscribe!! =]

-I cant believe you got a chick from the north side to fall for you, I mean, it just doesnt happen,- Kevin says

He has been ranting like this for almost forty five minutes now, so I just roll my eyes and ignore it.

But Kevin continues, -Man, she was kissing you like it was the last day of her life. If thats how she kisses, I wonder how-

I interrupt him before he can finish his thought, -Shut up Kevin. Let me work ok?-

-Shell ruin you Nick. I mean look at you, youre already skipping to earn some money back. This girl wont be good for you. I mean granted, shes smoking hot, but is she worth all the trouble she will put you through?-

Man I love his optimism. I go back to ignoring him and keeping working on the car Im under. But I am majorly distracted by thoughts of Briannas lips on mine, her tiny body wrapped around in my arms. Yes, she is definitely worth it.

When I am about ready to head home, Kevin walks up to me, worry clearly written on his face, -Hector is here to see you. And hes here with Danny-

Danny is Hectors assistant. He was one tough son of a gun, strikes fear into all the gang members hearts, probably even more then Hector.

I wave of fear washed over me as I head to the room where they are. Dread sinks in the pit of my stomach. The presence of these two will make any tough guy shake in the boots.

-Kevin you can leave, this is a private matter,- Hector says

Kevin, was standing behind my, acting as an ally if I need one. But now hes leaving me alone, like a sheep in a pack of wolves. Its Dannys presence that makes me nervous, it means this is a big deal.

-Great to see you here instead of in a jail cell Nick.- Hector says and I force myself to smile, -Sit down Nick, I need you to do a favor for me.-

My shoulders tense. I knew this would happen, -What kind of favor?-

-A shipment needs to be made on Halloween night. And because I said you were moving up in the Bloods, you get to do it-

I shake my head, -I told you, I wont deal drugs. You know that.-

-Nick youve got to let go of what happened to your dad. If you want to lead the Bloods then you have to deal.- Hector says, putting a hand on my shoulder.

-Then I dont want to deal.- I say, simply. But Hectors hand tightens and Danny steps forward. A silent threat that makes me nervous.

-I wish it were that easy, but as I remember, you still owe me, Nick. I know you wont disappoint me- Hector says with a slight grin, knowing its true. I have to remain loyal.

-Hows your mom doing Nick?- he asks.

I frown, confused, -Shes fine.-

-Tell her I say hi, will ya?- Hector says with a wink and walks out the door, Danny following close behind.

What the hell does that mean? Was that a threat to my family? Threats to me I can take, but I wont let my family be in danger. If doing this head means keeping my family safe, then I have no choice.

Damn, if I ever wanted to be worthy of Brianna, that chance is gone now. This deal has to be a secret from her.

Ok there was chapter 27, I know it was really short and boring but it had to be done, its a big part in the story :P lol anyway next chapter is much better!!!! So please comment rate and subscribe!!!
