Whilst I agree that was too close, you really should stay off the pavement. :)
After all, you can't really go pointing out other road users faults while making your own.

@Cliffjumper24 hi i just went on the pavement to have a word.
i didn't fancy going to the driver's side,in case he pushed or opened the door.
i could have end up on my behind in front of a passing car.
i got straight off and back on the road after the pointless chat.
keep the rubber side down :)
