The winning time was 6:45:45 for Dave Wiens. Lance was second at 6:47:41. Third was way back at 7:20:52 (Manuel Prado). Wiens' time is a course record.
They went under 5 hours for 100 miles, which is just over 20 MPH average. Pretty amazing considering they are climbing to just over 12,000 feet. Wow! Lance's involvement is a big help for cycling and I congratulate his continued efforts to help the sport of cycling. He's very rich now and doesn't need to do this. Go Lance! See you in Texas for your next ride.
Congrats on winning this year! And thank you for putting yourself out there again to promote the Global Cancer Initiative!

Too cool. What an Icon. Come back to Leadville next year after riding the TDF. You can call it your post TDF recovery race

Congrats Lance, and to all the riders who gave it all they had. I just got into the sport, but love every minute of it.
