NASA plans to launch, in coming days, a Mars rover called Curiosity, that is fueled with 10.6 pounds of deadly plutonium.

Also call the White House at 202-456-1111 and tell President Obama that if space is to be explored it must done safely, not threatening us and future generations.
Opponents have created a Facebook page warning people not to visit Disney theme parks in Orlando during the November 25-to-December 15 launch window.

"Don't Do Disney brought to you by NASA," the Facebook page is titled. Other actions are planned.
