This is my cover of "Candle in the wind" by Elton John - the Princess Diana version, for a beautiful Princess who will never be forgotten by the people.

I know this one isnt really good and i look horrible cause ive just been swimming.. please dont judge ;)

Goodbye England's rose
May you ever grow in our hearts
You were the grace that placed itself
Where lives were torn apart
You called out to our country
And you whispered to those in pain
Now you belong to heaven
And the stars spell out your name

And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never fading with the sunset
When the rain set in
And your footsteps will always fall here
Along England's greenest hills
Your candle's burned out long before
Your legend ever will

Loveliness we've lost
These empty days without your smile
This torch we'll always carry
For our nation's golden child
And even though we try
The truth brings us to tears
All our words cannot express
The joy you brought us through the years

And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never fading with the sunset
When the rain set in
And your footsteps will always fall here
Along England's greenest hills
Your candle's burned our long before
Your legend ever will

Goodbye England's rose
May you ever grow in our hearts
You were the grace that placed itself
Where lives were torn apart
Goodbye England's rose
From a country lost without your soul
Who'll miss the wings of your compassion
More than you'll ever know

And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never fading with the sunset
When the rain set in
And you footsteps will always fall here
Along England's greenest hills
Your candle's burned out long before
Your legend ever will

  • @peardrop123 can you tell me please if you prefer this version? "Candle in the wind cover, MsGenius1990".

It's mine, and I've recorded that a few days ago...tell me please what do you think...thanks

  • @nat2796 Thats a different language Einstein, you're not going to be so ignorant like all you obese Americans are that you think American is a language do you. It's called English so speak it! Compared to leading brains of this world I am stupid yes, how does it feel to have lost an argument to an idiot?

  • @Bassmyface That's like telling someone who speaks Spanish that although they say color as 'Colores' and spell it different that it is wrong.

    Oh yea, and you're stupid.

  • @nat2796 And our way is the correct way. Thank you for backing out of this argument i look forward to hearing you in the nearby future. ;)

  • @Bassmyface You spell colour in your country different than I do in mine. Same goes for the word flavor. You spell it flavour. You're a genius though, you really are.

  • @Bassmyface Shakespeare*

  • @nat2796 Once again I have to prove you wrong, this is becoming awfully tedious. How am I supposed to talk without writing, Shakespear wrote things, he still had a 17th century vernacular. Good research on that word as well. Silly American, once you learn how colour is correctly spelt that is when you can attempt on lecturing me.

  • @Bassmyface Good thing you don't care for punctuation and grammar when you speak in everyday 'vernacular' considering vernacular is the way you TALK, not the way you WRITE.

  • @nat2796 I do not care for punctuation and grammar when talking in everyday vernacular. After all I'm talking to a loser on an internet site.

  • @Bassmyface Definitely, I must be your the first of your predictions and very very dim.

*Claps* By the looks of your poor grammar and punctuation I think someone ELSE is the dim one.
