Mirror on the Moon

From http://hvg.heinemann.co.uk A report looks at how the distance between the Earth and the Moon is measured accurately using a laser and a mirror that was placed on the moon by Apollo 11 astronauts in 1969. The report includes original images and photographs taken on the Moon's surface and an interview with a scientist who describes and explains how the mirror on the Moon and the laser telescope are both used to calculate the distance between the Earth and the Moon accurately.

this was from the horizon episode "what on earth is wrong with gravity"

because of this experiment it was discovered that issac newton was actually slightly wrong in his calculations.

also... why doesn't someone show all the luna landing conspiracy theorists this... if the moon landings didnt happen, then how come there just happens to be perfectly positioned mirrors on the moon that enable us to run this experiment... irrefutable proof that man DID go to the moon!!
