  • @SuperNathanexplosion This song is actually about the Vietnam war...

  • I think this song is about being depressed and crying

  • When the Nature Atacs!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    HAHaHa

  • Thought it was about woodstock first...But now the Rain line makes sense either with Woodstock or Vietnam. that is the mark of a good song....able to have more than two meanings

  • It's amazing that CCR still kicks the crap out of any of the junk that passes for "music" today.

It's also amazing how this song is really about Vietnam, but that people have either forgotten, or did not grow up in that era, and now think it's a song just about the rain.

    Who'll stop the CCR?

  • You got it buddy. I think that movie was vastly overlooked by many and was one of the greats in cinema history.

  • EASILY one of the ten best American movies of the 1970s, and fifty best of the second half of the 20th century.

  • The movie that went with this song was better. "Good men through the ages trying to find the sun".

The movie depicts a drug dealing dirty cop and a vietnam vet finaly at home in the USA marching to his death.

From what I remember The two clashed in their attempt to find their day in the sun-

With Nick Nolte's Character tragically and fatally wounded marching to an old army song on the railroad tracks to nowhere.

  • great video. I went thru Andrew in 1992 and pray every year for victims of hurricane, tornados, etc. God bless we all.
