D37 Ogre Mugen - Vs Zero_col

So glad to be back in gear and I also want to thank everyone for the warm reception from my last video, so you guys definitely deserve a great show from me all the time. Hopefully, I can commit to that with every new video from now on.

But anyway, let's get on to this video; Ogre's back to kick some ass once again, except this time around, he's even better-equipped with a couple more new moves & techs, however they are made limited enough to an extent so that he won't come off as a cheapie, but still retains his core fighting mechanics as the same. Besides that, he's now also got some new aesthetic sprites, new animations & CvS2 voice-overs, purely for show.

Now, let's move on to what you actually care about on this description; the opponent, who's known as "Zero_col".

Many people will cringe at the very mention of this guy. Why's that, you might wonder? Well... if you thought Isabeau, Elque, Cheap Boss Type, God Orochi and Broli were bad, you will feel your stomach lurching when you've gotten a load of the epitome of BS spamming that this guy will dish out. Seriously, he can not only easily brush off all those other characters I've just mentioned, but he can even defeat Psycho Shredder! Holy crap... if you have a character that's capable of that, you know that there's something wrong with it in the "Cheap-Sh*t-ometer".

Once the fight starts, Zero_col will most likely already be pelting you relentlessly with about 3 damaging pillars that rises in front of him, which gives unbelievably long stun time for you to deal with, even if you block them. In fact, just about EVERY attack he uses has huge stun/blockstun time, meanwhile Zero_col hardly has any recovery lag time after his attacks.

On top of that, several of his attacks render him invincible either on start-up, or even for the whole damn animation he's in. Oh yeah, did I also forget to mention that all his attacks are ridiculously overpowered, can easily pull off 100% death infinite-combos & gets assloads of power for his gauge with every attack that he lands on you? There's even a few attacks that will revive some of his health if he manages to touch you with them, which is very difficult to avoid.

Even if you manage to catch an opening through his barrage of attacks, you also have to contend with his two bothersome strikers, who appear to be Omega Rugal & Original Zero. Both of them will frequently pop out of nowhere and attack you anytime Zero_col isn't in a stun. They are hittable, but it's highly unlikely you'll get to disrupt them since you'll be paying more attention to Zero_col unless you're lucky.

Once again, even if you get past his strikers & flurry of attacks, there's the one thing that makes Zero_col ungodly, which is his "Attack Override Teleport". What this does is that any attack that hits him while on the ground will be overridden and Zero_col will teleport almost instantly to the other side of the screen with no damage taken whatsoever. Only custom-states (such as throws), tripping attacks and attacking him while he's airborne is the only way to by-pass this trait for any chance of juggling him.

God, this guy was such a pain to beat. The main thing to remember while fighting him is to be extremely patient with when to strike after you've blocked a barrage of his attacks, then punish as much as you can since his health can recover from more attacks. Making a single mistake will most likely get you KO'ed in less than 10 seconds from full health, so timing is everything here.

Health was set to 150. Enjoy the fight!

I know the video is kinda old... but still, nice job defeating probably the cheapest non-invincible MUGEN character.

I'm wondering what's the stage and BGM for this fight though... (would like to know)

If you've beaten every one of those guys, try beating T.O.P.S.'s "SCISM Gogeta." Look Scism Gogeta on Youtube and follow ths intructions in the description. You'll need the original Gogeta, but that should appear in the Related Videos section. Watch for his specials is my only warning.

No disrespect 2 anyone here but 2 me I think that it's no point 2 make characters and not give them out.You should want 2 get feed back from everybody not just friends also the vid was cool but Mugen is Just a game not a way of life your not getting payed 4 making characters so whats the point 2 keep them private but ya'll be cool and stay up
