5 Minutes with Chef - San Lorenzo Mexican Restaurant & Cantina | League City

For a wonderfully delicious treat try San Lorenzo's famous Nicho's Fried Fish Taco brought to you by Chef Carlos.

Nicho's Fried Fish Taco --
Ingredients:
Tilapia Filets (or Snapper)
2 Shrimp Cut In Half And Cleaned
Secret Seasonings
White Flour
Egg Wash
Breadcrumbs
Sliced Cabbage
Dices Tomatoes
Sliced Avocado
Chipotle Cream Sauce
White Rice
2 Corn Tortillas
Olive Oil
Colored Tortilla Chips For Garnish

• Season the tilapia filets on both sides and dip in the white flour, egg wash and lastly in the breadcrumbs.
• Place the breaded tilapia filets in the pan with olive oil over a medium flame. Pan sear for about 3 minutes on both sides. Then add the two shrimp towards the end for an added taste.
• Warm up your tortillas and place on a plate.
• Take your tilapia out of the pan and place on top of the tortillas.
• Top with the cabbage, diced tomatoes, sliced avocado and the creamy chipotle sauce.
• Place white rice in the middle of the plate and tacos on the side. Garnish with the tortillas chips and placed grilled shrimp on top of the tortilla chips.
