Ditch the Buck! Dollar demise 'a matter of months'

A report by the United Nations says the American dollar should be ditched as the main global reserve currency. It said that the global financial meltdown has exposed systematic weaknesses, one of which is the reliance on the greenback. It also found that developing countries have been hit by the dollar's loss of value in recent years. A number of states, including Russia and China, have repeatedly called for a new reserve currency system. The UN has now suggested using a basket of currencies for this purpose. London-based markets strategist Nick Parsons believes it's only a matter of months before the dollar will start to go down.

@Masonictoaster9 That's one of my problems with religion, it says that man is fundamentally evil and deserves punishment. In many ways religion is a like a drug, because without it its followers feel weak. You have an incredibly pessimistic, not to mention inaccurate view of the world. If you look at a theocracy like Iran and places with very high religious population they tend to have a much lower HDI rating than more secular societies such as Denmark and Sweden etc.

@RoniCMaster This is what happens when nations reject Christ en masse. The natural instinct of people is to rob others. America as a whole rejected God some time ago. Man is a dishonest animal without God. He seeks life and fulfillment in money and takes pleasure in devaluing others, their achievements, their goods and their property and gaing leverage over them to then steal it. Only honest, kind, hardworking societies have stable values-they're the antithesis of this and scarce.
