GIANT 1918 Hit and Miss Engine

This is another RAM TOUGH PRODUCTION. This it a GIANT 1918 Hit and Miss Engine that was used in a grits mill. and it still runs GREAT to be from 1918!!!
This was at the 17th Annual Old Fashion Planter's Day. (March 28-29, 2009) at Ammon, North Carolina

They need to slow that thing down. That is VERY dangerously close to becoming out of control. I have 24 hit n miss and throttle governed engines like this ranging from 1915-1937. This sickens me to see the owner of this engine allowing this.

@uraldneprvw When it doesnt fire, the exhaust is left open, so when the oil enters the cylinder, it gets vaporized from the heat.
