does this thing have a noise gate.can you play metalica,iron maiden,megadeth...is the distortion ok?

@panayiotis210 yes it does have a noise gate. And it doesn't have the best preset distortions but if you put your own together it is really good for a pedal ofthis price. And yeah I can personally play them (now) and the pedal has really similar sounds to those bands but if you want to go as close as possible you have to edit one of the patches and throw together the sound witch can be difficult at first.

Yo, I have this pedal for my bass as well. If anybody has questions I could probably answer them. It has 40 built in patches, distort, delay, reverb, tremolo, fuzz, wah, basically anything you want your bass to sound like, you can get out of this pedal. It's quite nice for it's price.

The question I have for the OP.

Have you ever used this pedal for a guitar?

I have experimented with it a bit, but it sounds bass heavy. I have only tried with the built in patches though, not my own mix.
