Swine flu cases climb among US soldiers in Iraq

BAGHDAD — The number of American troops in Iraq diagnosed with swine flu has climbed to 67, making U.S. soldiers the largest group in the country to come down with the potentially deadly virus, Iraqi health officials said Wednesday.

...The U.S. military did not immediately confirm the figures released by the Iraqis. But earlier this week, it said 51 soldiers had been diagnosed, while another 71 suspected cases were in isolation.

Swine flu outbreak suspected in military prison

In recent days Ynet has received dozens of reports from soldiers and their parents about a swine flu outbreak in the IDF's Confinement Base 394, more commonly know as Prison Four.

According to the reports, 15 of the soldiers held at the prison have been isolated from the rest of the inmates due to suspicion they have contracted the H1N1 virus.

A phone conversation with one of the inmates revealed a grim picture. "What goes on here is a catastrophe," he said. "People are vomiting, are suffering from diarrhea, can't sleep, can barely walk, and the prison guards just tell them to take a rest."

The soldier said that "at least one soldier on average falls ill every day. They put you through hell before they let you see a doctor. We just want to be tested."

Seven Swine Flu Cases Confirmed At Coast Guard Training Center (NJ)

As of Monday, a total of 36 Coast Guard members were tested for Swine Flu with 23 test results received confirming seven members with the H1N1 Virus. There were negative results for 16 members tested, according to Chief Warrant Officer Veronica Bandrowsky.

Swine flu hits Air Force operations in north Fla.

As many as 59 airmen at Hurlburt Field are suspected of having the virus, while another four have tested positive.

First Special Operations Wing spokeswoman Amy Oliver said Wednesday they won't be testing the probable cases.

...This excellent 60 Minutes exposé reveals blatant U.S. government propaganda and fear-mongering in the swine flu outbreak and mass vaccination of 1976. The incisive report states that though only one person died as a result of the swine flu, "4,000 Americans are claiming damages from Uncle Sam amounting to three and a half billion dollars because of what happened when they took that [swine flu] shot."
 
Could it be that President Ford and other government officials saw this as a wonderful opportunity to shunt millions of dollars of taxpayer money into the pockets of the pharmaceutical companies in which they had investments?

Remember the $5 million Donald Rumsfeld made on his investments during the avian flu, as reported in one of the U.K.'s top newspapers? Could it be the fear makes for big profits for the power elite in our world?
