  • I wounder if marijuana can help Hyperthyroidism? Or make it worse?

  • @grimreaper957 That I'm not sure about. Probably something I won't test out on my patients though :)

  • I had already lost down to 82 pounds at 5 foot 8 and it was melting off by the day. I had 18 nodules on my Thryroid was unable to eat or drink hardly anything, I was literally at death's door. I had the RAI pushed in my face and with that I could have been tried on AntiThyroid meds but I was in such a state that my Endo made the decision for me I thought after RAI I would be back to normal and didn't know I would be on T4 for the rest of my life. I have't felt "right: since my gland STOPPED

  • @VickyGoss Sometimes RAI is necessary, and so considering the circumstances you were under I wouldn't have any regrets. However, just keep in mind that the RAI did nothing for the cause of the hyperthyroidism, and that even if you do need to take thyroid hormone on a permanent basis, there still is a chance to do some things to improve your overall health and feel much better than you are feeling right now.

  • I've suffered over 11 years from stress and depression as well as not eating or eating too much junk but everytime i go to the doc theres no help apart from them offering me goddamn tablets which i know will mess my life up.... i have been tested for thyroid but i read somewhere that there are a few tests to do and just one won't do, is this true?

  • @zaazi123 Well, you definitely want to receive the typical thyroid blood tests (TSH, Free T3 and Free T4, TPO and/or TSI, etc. But there are also other tests to help determine the underlying cause of the condition, such as an Adrenal Stress Index test, hair mineral analysis, hormone panel, etc.

  • @grimreaper957 I bet it helps...not to much though...but weed helped me with my IBS after being bulimic...so it might help with this)))

  • check peoples pharmacy.com for others peoples comments about natural ways sometimes work.

  • the speaker has a nasal quality of voice tone!

  • Ordinarily, i would have been under the impression that radioactive treatment for thyroid conditions only apply for neoplastic causes of toxic nodules, and not just the phenomenal hyperplasticity for whatever cause, be it primary or secondary.

  • insufficient pathophysiologic connection between poor eating/refined foods and adrenal and thyroid pathology...statement is a little bold!

  • @shawondemand ....what medication are you talking about? if you dont mind me asking. my doctor told me that i am past the medicine and radioactiive iodine. all i can do is have the surgery and take the synthyroid, as far as i know.

  • @grimreaper957 .....smoking marijuana helps my tremours a little as well as stay calm and not move so much. but it mainly helps me eat without throwing up. im not sure if it is damaging my thyroid but my doctor doesnt seem to mind.

  • Thank you for this video :) I suffer from Graves disease myself and I take Propyl Thyracil to regulate it. My eyes were bulged out before but once I got on the medication, my eyes went back to normal within 2 or 3 weeks! GD does not run in my family that I know of. A few years ago before I got this disease, I had very poor eating habits and I was under a tremendous amount of stress. I know thats how I got GD. Im doing good now :) How is your health now?

  • as i said, please go away now. i have other things to do than listen to your rubbish. u are programmed by the system. u think you know it all while just listening and learning from big pharma propaganda. good luck,,!

  • @SovereignBeing Because I have been in a darker place than where you have been.

  • @SovereignBeing

I took a blood test and my TSH was 12. Which was twice the amount I was supposed to have. I have been living an incredibly healthy life, I no longer have brain fog and I no longer struggle in school (before taking the synthroid I couldn't remember anything.. my vision was also very blurry and my hearing was also horrible). I am now a healthy teenager who lives a normal life thanks to synthroid. If I were you I would take a serious look at your own life.

    I wish you the best.

  • @SovereignBeing all the while my real blood tests were coming in horrible. For two years my mother forced me to go the naturopathic route. (She would test my urine ph levels LMAO and a bunch of other random shit). It was the most miserable thing in the world. I finally decided enough was enough and I went to the doctor and explained the situation. He took my heart rate and it was incredibly low because I was likely going to die of a heart attack if I continued with her naturopathic remedies.

  • @SovereignBeing

I was also getting my blood tested once every 4 months to make sure that everything was going well. I didn't tell the naturopath about the blood tests as a way to make sure that she was not lying to me about the "tests" that she was performing on me. For example I would piss into a cup and she would do some "bullshit" to determine the health of my thyroid gland (looking at the ph of my urine ect). She was telling me that the tests were coming back great, all the while...

  • @SovereignBeing

I have gone to naturopaths and I ended up nearly dying of a Heart attack. At first I felt GREAT on her medication because of the placebo but after the first week of being on her medication I noticed that I started feeling like shit again. I told her about how shitty i felt and by the end of the year I was taking down around 7 different pills a day (7 different pills but some of the pills I needed to take multiple times throughout the day).

  • @SovereignBeing

A source is respectable if it can't be altered at the wimp of a random person on the internet. There are no opinions in the source, only evidence. I have experience with hypothyroidism and everything that I have read thus far on peer reviewed articles makes sense to me. Everything that I have felt BEFORE talking to doctors about my problems makes sense and flows with their explanations.

  • @SovereignBeing

Wikipedia is not a respectable source.

Google is not a respectable source.

Youtube is NOT a respectable source.

"respectable to who, the establishment.. oh god, wake up kid.!"

Can we please leave out our "sources" problem? Because that's another HUGE argument. I used to be just like you tbh, but the stress that you get from looking up all these conspiracies is not worth it in the end. All you will end up with is "IDK if everything is corrupt."

  • @SovereignBeing

No but I'm a university student and I know how to use my common sense.

I don't mean to offend you sorry about that. You can only have hypothyroidism if your TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) levels are too high.

I'll respond once more with a comment about my experiences with a naturopath.

  • @shawondemand respectable to who, the establishment.. oh god, wake up kid.!

  • @shawondemand go back to your xbox kid and leave me alone, u have all the symptoms of fluoride poisoning. !
