I remember getting that doll and rocket ship as a kid...still one of my favorite Christmases!! I'm 43 now, just thought about it when we got our daughter those "Monster High" dolls...yes, it's good to be a kid sometimes!

@RAIDERS58th So true. Many people don't understand to not judge things across all time periods. They weren't there, and have so much exposure to so much media today that they can't clear their minds to the point of this show being "fresh" with only the stuff before it (the shows of the 60's, 50's, and inferior 70's shows) being the only comparison. The intro to this show got millions of kids (and adults) hyped up. It's still cool today.

@sr71ablackbird I did have the board game but that was years ago, I don't know where it is now. I also had the Steve and Jaime action figures.

I had one of those dolls when I was little, it had 2 clear chips with mechanical designs in it as far as i remember, one in the arm and one in the leg. it also had a `see-thru' eye where one could look directly through the back of his head and see what was out in front.

instead of a `flying body' its called a lifting body. Northrop's XB-35 flying wing is the basis for the recent Northrop B-2 Stealth bomber
@muklucks Actually The Six Million Dollar Man was one of the best shows of the 1970's and it was loved by millions of kids including me. I am nearly 46 years old and remember when it first started. You are not even old enough to remember it so why don't you just shut up. How can you comment on something that you know nothing about.

Who remembers running in slow motion on the playground while going "Ch ch ch ch ch..."? This show ruled. Bottom-feeders like Muklucks will never understand that.
