Nu, pogodi! ("I'll Get You!") is a series of Russian animated shorts directed by Vyacheslav Kotyonochkin, produced at the Soyuzmultfilm studio in Moscow, between 1969 and 1986. The plot of the series follows the mischievous and artistic Wolf (Volk) trying to catch the Hare (Zayats), presumably with the intention to eat him.

Волк раньше был для меня примером для подражания. Но позже я осознал что мультяшный герой не может быть примером для подражания.

Волк типичный тунеядец с папиросой... хотя в серии, где он таранку ломает, там на стене висит моряцкая фуражка и форма. Видимо бывший моряк. Есть же еще серия, где он в на море кажется в форме... Забавно, я в детстве никогда не задумывался над этим и не замечал)

Hey, it's the Soviet Union's work were talking about. It may look crummy at first, but once you get used to that, you could find the real value and beauty of it. For many of us, this was one of the few good things the "Existing Socialism" gave. Thus, we enjoyed it.

It's animation is very simple as you can see, and the "plot" itself is very basic. It's a fairly old, drawn, stop motion (REAL) cartoon, (ACTUALLY) made for children. And that's all it needed to be, nothing more, nothing less.

@globalkevolution on show more the user said i'll get you for the translation but if you say it's just you wait thats in my language asteapta si ai za vezi or o sa vezi tu(youl se just wait) something similar to i'll get yo,2 words lol they say more than that watch every ep.

@valy225 but that is literally the only thing they say. "Nu, pogodi!" literally means "Just you wait!" I'm not sure where "I'll get you" comes from. Are you seriously telling me you are confused by the storyline of these cartoons just for the lack of two words?!
