  • Communism is the making of slaves. Don't let the people think and reason. This means controlling the media in case some of them might try to reason. For those that do and try to inform others, label them trouble makers. Publicly whip them by calling them names to scare the others from following.

  • A very charismatic man. His style does not appeal to me as much as it will to many people, but he makes a very good point. There is clearly a direct correlation between ability to reason and ability to recognize injustice.

No doubt, this is why, in the Confederacy, though they insisted left and right that it was impossible to educate slaves, they also made it illegal to even try. If a thing is impossible, why make it illegal?

  • Thanks.. This brings back memories. Sometimes I worry that history will repeat itself. We shall see.

  • BlackSatinQueen, thanks a million! Vernon and Lou Palmer (remember Lou Palmer's notebook) were and still are my heroes! Those men inspired me to write some powerful speeches during my school days. One of which, my white English teacher tried to get me to change, because she thought my wording was too "strong". LMAO!

  • I could listen to this speech over and over again.
