I LOVE IT OMG I HAVENT BEEN ABLE TO FIND A GOOD DOMINICAN SALON SINCE I LEFT HOME>> MISSING NEW YORK ;-(
-
@chemiseR Thats their technique to keep the hair soft and silky and the rollers help the roots of the hair.
-
Guys, the rollers are for the roots. You roll them a certain way and it make the roots stretch. It cuts down on the drying time and the scalp doesn't have a lot of heat applied on it so it doesn't burn the scalp.
-
Why do you roll it, blow dry it and flat iron the hair? That's to much heat.
-
So what was the point of the rollers if it was all flattened with a flat iron?

I LOVE Silicon MIX Intensive Hair Deep Treatment! The best out there!

dominican blow out.

I love getting my weekly wash and set, to prevent heat damage the flat iron part is optional at my Dominican salon. Especially if I got a relaxer done recently I don't need to blow dry or flat iron, I get my hair wrapped. When the new growth starts coming in is when I get my hair blown out.

Looks good. I think the blow drying portion after rollers could have been bypassed if flat ironing is done. All that extra heat isnt necessary. There are hair textures that are not smooth before flatironing that get good results. Cutting down on the heat is important.
