Nox is very diablo-esque and would be my number 1 recommendation, as far as roleplaying games there's the Baldurs Gate series, Planescape: Torment, the Fallout games if you're into post-apocalyptia. Lets see, platforming you've got American McGee's Alice and Alice:Madness returns, pretty fun with great art direction. A lot of these are older games though, I've got plenty more suggestions if you're interested.
