Your combos are quite tight.. Especially your build-up before the uppercut. Do you play any other street-fighter games other than SF2? Interesting video by the way.

do people still play this in like evo or something?

Do super combos make the newer games better?

@avengerfinger24 ...it ended with no "locks" at all. Those locks -ken/ryu/akuma's freezing after an hadoken or being capable of throwing only one "power" at once- made the battles well balanced matches, leaving you and your skills against the world, but having no locks at all meant stuff like children shaking the joystick and tapping punch buttons while playing Guile to fill the whole screen with sonicbooms... awful. By then anyone could beat the game and challenges were just a bad idea.

@zekidz I used to play those cracked versions in Mexico -where anything can be barely (i)legal. At some point the crowd lost interest in SFII' so someone started messing up with the game. At first it was stuff like air hurricane kicks, Chun-Li throwing an hadoken from her lightning kick, or four fireballs that seemed to come out from balrog's armpit during his dashing uppercuts. That made the game kinda interesting, but... (cont.)

I've been playing this gamne since I was maybe 10, 11, but it was more casually than anything. Enough to learn the special moves, a few small combos and figure out the basic timing and counter attacks for fighting each character. But I NEVER thought you could achieve so many fast combos in the original like this man. This opened my eyes, I didn't realize you could get more than a 4-hit combo with any character, even Ken.

0:40 was insane, I didn't remember Ken could end a round with 2 combos!

I was playing SF2 since i was a child in 91 and i never realize these cps1 combos coming up in Broadway arcade in Manhattan...Alwasy good to see a fellow game do it for the love and not just cause he wants his just do lol!! whats great is Even my Daughter at age of 7 likes to play sf2 turbo. When she started to understand video games i showed her what Daddy used to play all on emulation so that she will understand the basis and it worked. She does'nt discriminate graphics.
Hi i think a lot of people have been asking this but pls help
I dont understand how to link a JP or a JK(SK) To a middle attack. People said that it is necessary to press a fierce attack as well but it doesnt work. Pls help
Thanks for every help

@CloudSyler Some characters can do it, others can't. If you are using Ken, for example, you would press the short kick, followed by pressing down+short kink+strong punch (all 3 at the same time, and timing is critical). You would substitute strong for fierce if you want the crouching fierce to come out. If you ever read this, I hope my description helps.

Judging from you age you were doing this quite sometime now. Nice Combos. CPS chains are killer.

@SDSOverfiend I have been playing for a long time. It is strange to think that, while my grand parents enjoyed board games and cards, I will probably be playing stuff like this when I am an old man. :-)
