Rainbow over Gatlinburg Tennessee

On July 27th, 2009 my wife took this short video of a full sky rainbow over the city of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. We were on the bypass around this pretty little town which is on the northern side of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is about 40 miles to the south of Knoxville. The rainbow's base began at the Sheraton Inn. The Sheraton is a wonderful tower like hotel in Gatlinburg with spectacular views toward the mountains. This is the first rainbow we have ever seen here and many folks stopped by the roadside to see it.
