Even though I watched this in my teens, I was never politically-minded. I think George W. woke a lot of people up to just how much damage a fool with political power can do. It sure woke up a lot of complacent We The People, and people voted who wouldn't have ordinarily. I think it's good that people are watching Obama... like a hawk. I really hope he gets re-elected.

we the people sure have messed up with the sex offender laws. MOST of the people on the registry are NOT dangerous. Sure makes it easy now for really bad ones, like Gerrido to hide for 18 years. WE THE PEOPLE need to wake up. The Adam Walsh laws are getting insane. the registry is so BLOATED with people who are NOT PEDOPHILES, NOT DANGEROUS...but their lives are ruined, some have been killed by vigilantes. DO 'WE THE PEOPLE " CARE?? few do.

Looking back, I liked Goldie with this naturalistic hairstyle which she basically has worn ever since than the shag of curls she wore in "Private Benjamin" and "Best Friends." Even in movies that aren't so great, sometimes actors look pretty darn good.

I watched this movie for the first time when I was in my early teens and it made me so excited to vote. I couldn't wait to turn 18 and participate in the democratic process. Thanks for posting!
