@12hauserI Poverty and death funny? Absolutely not. I am 3rd-world poverty citizen in Ca and it isn't funny or fun at all. It's death and that isn't welcome until we're truly of such time, which I'm not and haven't been for the past decade+ of 3rd-worldism. And as poor as I am, I do the utmost to buy only fair trade and organically cert'd foods, to help myself and others. So i don't know what you're talking about. @IHighLikePlane Thanks, and I already learned enough about MANY Libyans supporting Gadhafi, while many dodo Americans pretend the contrary. I learned about this and either all or else a lot of the good that he did for Libya and Libyans. He's considered a dictator and accused of torture, but no one of the West has anything to preach about when it comes to the topic of torture; except for the hypocrites and hegemons of the West. The US tortures in US prisons and more, fe.

But, I'll now take your word as truth. Just don't support the US, IMF, World Bank, etc., actions in Latin America, and if you don't, then I'll have even more cause to believe you. If you don't like what Torrijos did to your country, then you surely also don't approve of the actions of the US, etc.

@robmoj Thanks for the info. Perkins and I don't talk about anything together, and he is right about the economic hit men part of what he says. It's unfortunate that he either lies or is uninformed about Torrijos, buthe EHM part is definitely credible. It's proven fact that the US has been waging economic and other warfare against Latin American countries for many decades, since early 20th century, the first half of it anyway; and that this continues today.

@robmoj If you say Torrijos is listed at soaw.org, then I take your word for it, and will therefore agree with you. But you should provide links to Web resources where a person can learn more, IF you know of such resources. Otherwise, I'ld just use google. The occasional problem with that is finding reliable resources, but it sometimes works out without being too time-consuming.

I hope, however, that you're not supporting what the US did there, for then we'ld definitely disagree.
