i hugged rivers

the highlight of my life!

on july 2, my husband and i went to go see weezer in montreal. on his way backstage, lead singer rivers cuomo took a shortcut through the crowd and came through our row. my husband put up his hand for a high5 and rivers grabbed it for support as he walked across the upright seats. when he got to the end of the row, rivers realized there was a gate and quite a long drop to the backstage area so he stood there for a few moments to decide what he would do ~~ so i took the opportunity for a quick sqeeze! but i'm ashamed to say i was too nervous to do or say anything else. ...another girl cut in front of me and started talking to him. (i wish i had thought of that!) that's when the spot light found him.
