The Russians, and four other tracking stations from around the world, tracked our space craft all the way to the moon and back again. We still fire a laser at the reflectors left on the moon to keep track of the moons orbit. You can see, with a high powered telescope, all equipment left on the moon from Apollo 11 and every landing afterward. We were in a space race with the Russians, and if they even thought, for a minute, we were faking it, they would have raised holy hell. You're and idiot.

The "why the Russians" argument is probably the best argument NASA has (haha) and this fucking Aldrin fella uses it all the time. It's actually a theoretical,assumption,based on the 60s propaganda frame,and ironically enough these people call us "theorists".In reality the answer as to why the corrupted soviet leader did not wrote the truth(looks safer to assume he knew the truth from espionage)to Pravda is simple-Money.Google "Soviet grain port Duluth"to start getting answers.
