How beautiful!
I love it's innocence and quaint charm Matthew.
You are such a fine and evocative composer.
Well done!

After the next video I'm going to take some time off posting videos, and try to rekindle my love for composing. I'll be running a few things by you once I gets a'rolling with it.

Interesting you say that . Lately I've felt a need to take some time off composing too. It can be healthy. Often too I feel a need to go back to square one, almost relearn the learning, whatever that means.
Blessings....

I feel relearning could be the best thing one could do to bring forth inspiration again. I was so much more motivated to create in my earliest years of composing. Maybe a return to simplicity is needed. Even though my music is relatively simple to many composers!

Simplicity is everything. Mastering the art of economy also reveals your true voice to you. Less is more. There's strength in simplicity.
I stopped composing for many years. I started again by relearning ad rewriting earlier works - I approached them as if someone else had written them and set out to better them. It worked. :)

I've got so much stuff I could approach like that. That's a great idea for getting back into it.
Take care
