  • Thought provoking video Baz...in traditional offline business, it's often recommended that small business owners should split their time equally between 'distribution' (getting the product on the shelf) and 'marketing' (getting the product off the shelf)...business owners are typically stronger in one area than the other, and tend to concentrate their efforts in their stronger area, rather than recognising that both are of equal importance...

  • Well done Baz, very thought provoking, getting a line of followers prior to getting everything in place. Interaction on the social media sites is key to getting interest in your list

  • Hey Baz!

Seems like your thoughts are a bit scrambled on this one, although I can tell you've fried them both. Omelette(ing) you into a secret here, and a few pellets of wisdom: give free range to your ideas and recharge your batteries often and you'll create new products whilst also having the energy to grow your lists.

  • Great points Baz. What matters whether chicken or egg is to take action. The worst thing to do is to hem and haw (from who moved my cheese book) and do nothing!

Thanks for the reminder to take action. Melanie

  • Very insightful video Baz - using vehicles such as Twitter or Facebook is a great strategy to build your list or following before you actually promote a product.

    Keep on sharing your knowledge!
