How To Burn XGD3 Backups The Right Way (Modern Warfare 3)

Simple tutorial here on how to burn XGD3 backups and shows what settings are needed in IMGburn. In this particular tut I will be using MW3.

NOTE: Now from the feedback I have gotten this method seems to work on a lot of peoples setups. But this might not work for everyone. Keep that in mind when following this tut and dont get all pissy in the coments.

@thelivewirehoward I cant tell if you are trolling or not lol but yeah the layerbreak has to be set to 2133520 for XGD3 games and 1913760 for XGD2 games. Its kinda common knowledge. But yeah you DO NOT set to calculate optimal. You set the specific layerbreak.

@thelivewirehoward Just google "how to burn xgd3 user specified". All the tuts say touse the user specified options. No offense but whoever told you that just doesnt know what they are talking about.

@ebonics76 You need to buy the correct drive that used to be in your xbox360 and flash that with the latest firmware, XGD3 + Spoofed drive = bad responses. Check out 360collector .co.uk

@babamaal Sure, you should mess around with 'Advanced Settings' in the bottom right corner of ImgBurn, you should pay attention to OverSpeed, SmartBurn settings etc or Just go to 360collector .co.uk and order them! They get delivered in like a day and they are perfect, topology data and all even XGD3 games they offer verbs and normal discs, pretty sweet.

those discs aint cheap i seen them on ebay for £21.50 for 25, cant i use Aone's Gold edition DL 8.5 GB

Like your tutorial. Quick question, hope you can help me out.

I have onre of the 1st gen xbox360. My box is Moded and the drive was "spoofed". The Guy that updated me, said because of my drive I can only go to LT+2.0.

He made me a copy of "NFS The Run" (XGD3 game) and I'm able to play by using my USB key loaded with the Media ID file.

I've tried burning CODMW3 myself using ImageBurn, not running the game through abgx360 and loading my USB key with media ID file but doesn't load the game? HELP

dude im trying to burn mw2 but i didnt have a notepad part of it so i tried to make a .dvd and all that but every time i try to select the folder it opens to my iso and stuff plz help
