  • I saw Bill with BeBopDeluxe in Santa Monica in the 70s. While playing one song he broke the 1st E string, without getting a new guitar he played the whole song, solo and all without missing a note. Phenomenal skills

  • I'm sooo happy to find so many other fans of Bill Nelson and this brilliant, yet largely unrecognized, bands of the 70's. Have been a fan since they played San Diego way back in '75. I always turn other guitarists on to this guy because I still can't believe how beautifully melodic his choices are...sure there are faster and flashier guys out there...but none tastier...most fast, acrobatic guitarists sound rather sterile to me. Bill's got so much soul in his playing. THANKS

    FOR POSTING!!!

  • Does anyone know if Nelsonica is on this year ?

  • "I don't read or write music"?

Amazing to me that someone can do what he did with an instrument in BeBoop if that is true. I can't read or write music either but I can't play the guitar either. He must be one of those prodigies like Mozart as a child, that plays buy ear. People that can do that are amazing.

  • Looks like Bill finally got that Mod suit....30 years too late sadly!

  • I'm getting a bit annoyed at the interviewer... he's on such an ego trip... bill's ace...

  • WOW ... Bills turned into Alan Bennett

  • no comments on gone to earth and rain tree crow?

  • any clips on his drum 6 bass project he did a lot of interesting ebow work on that
