@HangetsuHozuki you are a Shodan and based upon your name a Shodan of Shotokan Karate. So a brown belt if Okinawan karate would know more on this matter. And @megan6599leigh you would be mistaken to say that shoring thu has a lot if kicking, like was said before only really in Chinto and Kusanku. This doesn't mean that the feet are not being used. You have to remember that when the old masters developed a kata there was no room for wasted movement.
@megan6599leigh There's still not that many... In comparison to other systems. The only kata that truly have an abundance of kicks are Chinto and Kusanku. Two kata out of eighteen.
