Newly redesigned, the 190XPROB makes the famous Manfrotto-patented horizontal centre column feature even easier to use. Now, by extending the column to its highest vertical position, it can be swung round to horizontal without removing the head or disassembling the column itself, so switching between framing and positioning setups is more convenient than ever. The ergonomics of the leg angle release mechanism and the quick action leg locks themselves have also been greatly improved.

  • how much is this tripod?

  • I can't really remember... I bought it for about USD100 more than a year ago... and another about USD100 for the head...

  • It depends for me, this is good enough. This tripod is quite heavy, so it stands very firm. Depending on your requirements, there are other models... higher and lower models, and of course there are other brands too. Manfrotto is one of the leading tripods... National Geographic is using them :D

  • Looks good, sounds good,... But will it work?! Lol, jk good review

  • Excelent review

  • tripodbuyingguide(.)com for excellent tripod reviews!

  • @SwisssBolla Sir, I mean to Tripod weight. :) Sorry for the confusion.

  • @jerseyman9080 5 kg is the maximum weight of the camera.

  • 5kg and light weight? yeah right..

  • Wait...say Aluminum again.

  • This is the worst tripod I ever owned. Within the first year of purchase, it was sent to Manfrotto twice for fixing. Actually, the second time they wanted me to pay for repairs and shipping. It was the same problem on both occasions, the leg angle levers broke. I told them to keep the darn thing and I used that $50 for a cheap temporary Walmart tripod. Also, for Macro shots, lots of effort needed to adjust the legs so it wouldn’t tip over. This unit looked great on paper, but, I’m now out $200.

  • Mine cracked open - the camlock did - and Manfrotto wouldnt do anything about it. In fact they wouldn't even respond to my emails (6).

    Forgettaboutit!!!

  • i love manfrotto
