@accordv6er i dont know about 2 cyclinder ducatti's most sport bikes will heat up when going low speeds since theres less airflow passing through. i know my bike will heat up really fast on a hot day (but not over heat, since i dont ride slow for very long). since you live on a base i dont see the point unless you plan on taking it out offbase on the weekends and stuff

Ok, even if I'm riding around on base under or just over 30mph, can I get this bike and learn to ride on it? I have some experience with dirtbikes, most powerful was a ktm 250 2 stroke.
