Century Bell 47 electric conversion with cockpit clearance.

KD36-74-15XL 1100kv Brushless Inrunner $30
TR_P80A TURNIGY Plush 80A w/ UBEC Speed Controller $50
HPI 19T pinion gear (Part 100918) £10 ($15ish)

To run on 6s lipo at a headspeed of 1500rpm

Batteries to be mounted in cockpit under seat and/or floor to balance mainshaft to vertical, to carry this/these a new suspended floor will be added in alu. (soft-mounted) to support canopy and landing shocks.

  • Hi Mark,

    It is marketed as a complete kit by Century, based on the Century Hawk.

    I bought mine second hand, I think they were about £400 new. A few other makes do them but all are more expensive I think.

    Detail is 'close' rather than accurate, the main issue being the need to push the canopy back, and some details with the latticework.

    Midland Helicopter can get them I think.
