Joey´s System Shock Commentary: Part 1 - Incident on Citadel Station

I awake on the Medical Center of Citadel Station and find myself surroundet by medic-robots controlled by the ships AI called S.H.O.D.A.N.
And I find out that everything was my fault. It looks like that I am the only survivor. My only contact is a woman called Rebbeca Lansing. She told me that S.H.O.D.A.N. is planing to destroy Earth with the Laser-Cannon of the Station. But first I need to leave the Hospital Deck.

I have only 1 question, why didn't you use the CD version of System Shock? it makes reading the text much, much easier, it also can increase the Video resolution up to 640x480 and other than that, it has death animations and everything else looks better :)

@Acantophis3rd I notcied on part 4 you started using it. sorry about that, I thought you had the rest of the videos in the first version of System Shock :p

It's probably just me who didn't like reading the text in that old format, it was kinda annoying the way some letters were written, like the "s" and "p".. It made reading the text difficult, that's why I asked why you didn't use the Higher resolution CD version :)

I hope you didn't get to upset, I still appreciate the effort.

I prefer 320x240 when I play the game for myself, simply cuz of the fact it's vanilla experience: like I would play it how in the past over 15 years ago. and you're right: it just looks awful for a video in that resolution. Anyway, have a great time with the rest of the series!

Well, i'm not trying to be an ass, but Dead Space is a great game, and has an amazing horror atmosphere

And of course, not all "teenagers" even like horror games XD

the big reason for this inacitvity is becuase i had too much off time at that time, and i had enough time to KEEP watching your video's (especially on school). and with from the fact we live with 6 in a small house with 2 shetty pc's, this is also the reason why i am trying to get myself a decent laptop. and when i will get that jewel, i promise i will watch EVERY video you posted!

@kolbymysterio619 Bioshock has been known to be a spiritual successor to System Shock. Heck, it was even made by most of the same guys who made System Shock in the first place. Even more interesting is that the working title for Bioshock was going to be System Shock 3, until it was decided to make a completely different story (the story of Rapture, the one we have now).
