A research team from an electronics company move into an old Victorian house to start work on finding a new recording medium. This show was available on DVD from the British Film Institute, by they have now deleted it from their lists.
Nice twist at the end of the full film; until then we hadn't wondered WHAT had made the chambermaid scream and fall to her death..

So creepy and atmospheric...a classic chiller from the 70's, when they had to rely on wit and wisdom and not CGI.
