I'm going to have to clear this up seeing as I saw all this start. What was originally said ages ago was "The Killers are the most British American band" and some people just didn't read it properly.
The Killers are from Las Vegas however and it's been quoted by the band and others that they are heavily influenced by British music and the culture (One reason why the Live Dvd was in the UK) but another point about Brandon is he has a 'fake british accent'. So yeah chill out people and enjoy.
