Super Mario Sunshine - Getting on the very top of the Shine Gate With No Rocket Nozzle

It's only one glitch, but if you can't get this done perfectly, then here's EXACTLY how to do it.

1. Find a way to the starting point.

2. Face away from the wall, and do a backwards high-jump, wall jump and hover onto the lower gate platform.

3. Get into a comfortable spot to where you can do a Triple high-jump, and perform.
At the apex of the third jump, Hover but if you get more still, the higher you go, so do that in the most similar way as you can possibly get in the video.

4. Aim towards the ledge as performed in the video. If you failed, try again. This is a 8/10 difficult trick if you haven't attempted this or even practiced your tight ledge jumps. Otherwise, this will be 4/10.
Believe me, practice makes perfect!

If people think this was AR, think again and at least try this! You'll be amazed at what you can accomplish with special tricks! =D

Glad to help. I'm still trying to figure out how to beat that level up there when you need Yoshi... The 4th Shine Sprite I think. Not sure. If I can get help with that, then I can skip the very first level, lol

I believe you're talking about the 5th Shine, and you get a fruit from the tree (near the bath) and give it to him. Then, you retern to the beggining of the level and jump off to the left (where the mushrooms are) and jump untill you get to the last one, and use Yoshi's RJuice to melt the orange stuff away

But you need to get the 7th Shine from each World to Beat the game anyway

AND the game doesn't truly end (imo) untill you get all 120 Shines

Yeah, thats the one. That Shine Sprite was kinda fogging my memory. But I THINK I can somehow get past that, but I need like, alot of time with this one glitch spot I found JUST near that entrance. If I can get that done, then I can easily finish the game. But thatnks in anyway though.

Dang. Yours got STOLEN? That keeps happening to my savings. XD Anyways, I love this glitch and I should have made it longer. 0.o Dunno why though. I'm gonna see if I can get in the shine gate and beat the game early. I just need to see that vid though.

I did that once! Could manage it again. i kept trying to use a spin-jump, and that didn't work....Once I buy this game again (mine got stolen) I'm going to try it again!
