@abubacar Good point, but Jack White has a great style, You never hear of Brian James of the Damned who is a wonderful guitarist and a great style/writer as well. There maybe satriani, mark Knopfler etc or all these great great technicians, who can be really ball achingly boring. He's an exciting performer looks cool and who has bags full of enthusiasm and energy. That for me constitutes as a guitar God, a great influence for future performers :D

You can pick apart any musician, Jack isn't a technical artist trying to impress folks with a repitiore of a million chord combinations. He stays within a certain range and just shreds it. If people can't appreciate that, they've totally missed the point of the White Stripes; a stripped down sound of just raw industrial drumming with guitar driven guts. White has said numerous times that they operated in a restricted form to purposely spawn creativity.

@CrashSamdicoot man i love YOU !!!
he is a good guitarist, but he doesn't really choose to play really technical stuff that people judge as material for being the best. Its just not his style. Even with how he fingers chords. Really technical guitarists will do all sorts of different voices, he continues to use bar chords or basic voices that we all learn starting out.
People are fascinated by him though because of how great of a performer he is. I personally really like him because i love his outlook on music creation.
