What do I think would be proof of a god?

I mumble quite a bit in this one; I was really rushing it so I guess it's not as deep a response as such a question warrants. Hope it gives at least a little bit of semi-interesting input, though.

If you just put some effort into believing, you won't regret it either way in the end... If the atheist nothingness comes into play after death you simply would not remember anything about your effort you put into god, or the things you missed out on in life (or didn't i.e. all the good things in life will be forgotten). But if there is a god you would be glad you had faith to put it lightly. It's a win-win (or win-doesn't matter) situation. Think about that if you understand.

RTM, do you think I like not believing in an eternal afterlife? I don't. I think the prospect of nonexistence is horrendously depressing. That doesn't mean I'm going to believe in something I inherently find to be bogus based on what we know thus far. That's just being intellectually dishonest. If you can make a logical argument for it beyond "It's a nice thought, huh?" then maybe I'll have a real incentive to change my mind.

True, it won't automatically make you you believe. That was more of en explanation of y u should keep searching I guess. But there is a guy on my fave vids that claims he can make an atheist question weather or not god exists. Idk if he can over youtube or not, but that's all the info I have for now. PEACE

Yes, and your point? Whether or not something is pointless is a matter of personal bias, because we created the concept of purpose and "points" in our minds alone - our perception of pointlessness doesn't change reality. Just because we find something dismal doesn't mean we can magically transform it into something optimistic.

There is no proof. Like I said, all you can do is wait,and then it is also likely that you are proven wrong when the void of nothingness comes instead of the "Kingdom of Heaven".

Believing doesn't prove anything to anybody. And you don't know what happens after we die. Nobody does. ANYONE who makes such a claim should be mocked and ridiculed into the ground, because they're too arrogant to be treated fairly.

But, apart from that, more power to you for believing in a god.

I believe that NO ONE can truly convert an atheist. and anyone who tries will die by being karate choped by Bruce Lee first before the atheist believes you.

I do believe in God. Big freakin' deal. I don't push it off on others who don't care or don't want to care.

Believe in whoever you want or don't want to. More power to you. The only way to prove their is a God is to believe...and see what happens after you die.
