It's a 2004 BMW X5 3.0L I6 with a 5 Speed Automatic.

Just doing a normal 0-60 drive so I'm not trying to break any records here.

  • Not trying to break any records? You couldn't anyway with a 3.0

In BMW, I Actually kinda prefer their i6 over their V8. So much less complicated.

    i6's are BMW's thing.

My favorite application of it was in the 2nd & 3rd Generation 325's.

  • wow that thing likes RPM's

  • These things cry for a 6th gear at 80MPH, nearing 3000RPM.

But they sure handle nice and these I6's sound awesome @ high RPMs.

  • true, you should make a full throttle 0-60.

  • 70,000 miles on most 99 and newer BMW's is like dog years if owners follow their recommended 15,000k oil change intervals. X5's are notorious for not having a reliable transmission And I'm more scared of tranny issues in these beamers than Continentals. Plus the truck ain't mine.

I should have hands on with an 05 X5 3.0i soon, I'll try to do a quicker run but I won't do full throttle though LOL..

  • @Intechdude300 technically yes but i'd still prefer a v8 just for the sound and feel, same reason i'd pick a 300bhp v12 over a 400bhp 2.0 turbo

  • @Intechdude300 pussy

  • @chris000089

    Ever heard of remapping? :)

  • wow, glad we got the 4.4i, it always under 3000. its still faster than most of the traffic too

  • ohhh ok lol
