one more thing...medicaid and medicare are already corrupt and have serious issues along with the IRS, now all of these very corrupt organizations have been lumped into one VERY LARGE CORRUPT organization.... the small issues have to be corrected within in these organizations first before any larger system can work. LARGER governement salaries will cost the tax payers more than our health care by the time it is all said and done.

the solution was to directly go after insurance co and attorneys. insurance cos should be forced to lower the rates for all to have BASIC affordable health care (evrythng is not covered under obamacare) the government steals from TAXES that all pay, therefore universal health care will fail as it has in most countries. the few that appears to be ok have HIGHER flat rates taxes paid by businesses (they cant claim their shower curtains on their tax return)

Fanaticism is the real issue. Political and ethical quandaries have been happening for a long time. Liberal or conservative, who cares enough about what they imagine America was like 250 year ago to deny their fellow human life? Our taxes are already spent on exploitation and American exceptionalism. Wouldn't it make sense that a tax (which, by the way, will effectively lower the cost of health insurance and cripple a financial monopoly) towards communal human-care is a good direction?

They're not free-riders and that is a leftist class-based lie. They are not free loaders if they can pay for their health care out of pocket and choose to do so. If they can afford and go the ER, then they are liable for paying and will pay. They people you're talking about are those who CAN NOT afford healthcare and go to the ER.

And why have Medicare for all? For what purpose? Government control.
