well one's religion or lack thereof isn't really a deciding factor for one's morality.. hitler is a die hard christian but he murdered alot of ppl.. meanwhile franklin roosevelt share the same faith but has different moral views..

@kajakpaddler92 Compare that to all the things I just named out, it's obvious people in general are messed up in the head these days and don't follow any morals. You believe what you like but I live in the real world and call it the way I see it, We know these bad things happen, it's on the news and everywhere, the youth of today have no respect or compassion, nobody has respect for life anymore...it just gets devalued and if people obeyed God, drug use and abortion etc. wouldn't be common. Bye!

Atheists do not lack a sense of morality by any means, everyone naturally (with a few exceptions) has this. The bible and other religious "holy" books offer morality in an extremely outdated state, times have changed and so have morals. We no longer see slavery as acceptable, yet in the old testament Yahweh seems to advocate it. Claiming that we atheists are immoral is a ridiculous and childish accusation, grow the fuck up!

@piaybackjunkie17 Look, i called you ignorant because if you cannot understand that society 500 years ago ("god fearing") is the last place you wanted to be! and that theocraties are the worst place in the world (where people are killed in public just for "blasphemy") then YES you are either very stupid or you haven't study any history.
