The music is actually Rodion Schedrin's rendition of Bizet's Carmen. He created this ballet version of the famous opera and it is actually called Carmen Suite. There are no percussions in the original Bizet's score.

I could only watch this by turning the sound off. Plushenko certainly is a joy to watch.

I want to watch this, but I just can't. The commentator got on my nerves so fast I couldn't stand it. That much talking simply ruins it, especially when it's louder than the music.

@Algorithm16 I read in his biographic novel. When he was little boy, and practiced the spins, his nose always was bleeding, and blood leaked from his hands nails. But his spins are not bad, that's true Lambiel's spins are better, more interesting, and beautiful. I think in this program his spins was awesome: /watch?v=kkhn4KbisJc
